About Marcel Duits

Hello, I’m Marcel Duits – entrepreneur, investor, and author. My passions include growth, entrepreneurship, CBAM, and Eastern Europe. Here on this website, you can learn more about who I am and what I have to offer.

Entrepreneurship

At the age of 11, I started my first small business. During my university years, I launched my first successful MBA comparison website, which I eventually sold. After completing a traineeship at Unilever, I went on to establish companies such as Bye Bra, The Kickstart Company, and Dubrink.

The Success of Bye Bra

Despite having a stable job as a management trainee at Unilever, I chose to forge my own path and founded Bye Bra in 2011. In less than eight years, Bye Bra became a global player in bra accessories and shapewear, with distribution in 40 countries. In 2018, the company was acquired by an Italian investor.

Structure and Vision

As an entrepreneur, I developed a structure and vision to establish businesses and achieve (international) success. I enjoy managing companies by optimizing variables such as speed, time, quality, and cost while investing in the people within the organization.

Author of Heino de Piraat

In addition to my business activities, I am the author of the children’s book *Heino de Piraat*. The proceeds from this book go to charity, allowing me to connect entrepreneurship with a social cause.

Eastern Europe

During my university years, I developed a strong affinity for Eastern Europe. I currently live in Prague and frequently navigate the region for business and real estate ventures, making it easy for me to serve companies in this area. I have a deep understanding of local cultures and business dynamics in Eastern Europe.

The Kickstart Company was born out of the demand for my expertise in Bulgaria, and my other company, Dubrink, is based in Prague.

Bridging East and West

I enjoy building bridges between East and West. While I have an entrepreneurial spirit, I also feel at home in large organizations. Need help? Count me in.
